My agenda for the next 3 weeks...

School has ended.. YAY.. School year is not busy. Tiring, but not busy. Summer is when things happen.. Which I am ok with. At least I don't have to worry about taking off work or anything. I live for summers. Hooray for being a teacher. It is worth it! :)

Monday, June 7th was my last day of work. It was a "Professional Work Day".. translated: "Sit on my tail and chat with other teachers all day because I was done with the check out process last week since I do not procrastinate school ending!"

Today, Tuesday, June 8th... Work out - yes, I am proud. First day of summer and I chose to wake up early and go to the gym because I KNEW I was not going tonight. Lunch with old college roommate who happens to live in the same town ALL year, also a teacher, and this is the first time all year we have gotten together. Sad. After lunch, hair appointment to "summerize" my hair. Woohoo! Hair done, off to shopping for a dress for the Texas Rehearsal dinner.. Found it at Target.. Wandered some more stores but didn't buy anything, woohoo for saying "NO" to spending extra money... At least until I got to Walmart, where I bought two books, two cheap summer-ish shirts, and exchange some other things. But I REALLY wanted one of the books, Nora Roberts: Savor the Moment (Book 3 of the Bride Quartet!) and the other book? It looked interesting.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, June 9th: Aubrey turns 1.. (Just had to throw that in!) Packing all my clothes.. Cleaning up a bit.. Load car with huge suitcase, two baskets, hang up clothes.. Because I will basically be living out of my car for the next six weeks. Taking nothing else with me though.. Until I know where I will be living in the Fall.. What city?!?! Who knows... Once packing is done, going to Leander to James and Heathers.

Thursday, June 10th: Perhaps workout early?!?! Then Heather and I and maybe James will take J to their neighborhood pool/water park.. Get some last minute sun.. Maybe eat lunch?!? Then Heather and I will get all "pretty" and head to New Braunfels, TX to the T Bar M Resort for Jacque's bachelorette party.

We are going to eat at the Gristmill in Gruene, TX. I love Gruene..

Then it is up to Jacque where we go... Gruene Hall is a pretty safe bet.. There will be ten girls, I think, so whatever we end up doing I am sure it won't be boring.
Friday, June 11th: A light lunch somewhere.. Then off to get nails and toes! LOVE getting pampered.. And a wedding is the perfect reason to do it! yay. Texas Rehearsal dinner is at Grin's in San Marcos, TX. After, all the bridesmaids and Bride will stay somewhere.. Not sure where though.

Saturday, June 12th: Jacque and Jason's TEXAS WEDDING DAY!!! Going to be held at Texas Old Town in Kyle, TX. It is very cute. I heard that it was suppose to be a theme park type thing but ended up being an event center...
Thursday, June 17th: Fly from Houston to Washington DC..
Friday, June 18th: Virginia Rehearsal Dinner and some other stuff..
Saturday, June 19th: Jason and Jacque's VIRGINIA WEDDING DAY!!!
Sunday, June 20th: Fly from Washington DC to Houston... Then off to Grace for Singing School that week...
Monday, June 21 - Friday, June 25: Singing School. Carol and Julie asked if I can help with the Kid's Class, which I feel so honored. For the last several years I have been helping with the cooking.. Playing with my nieces.. Visiting with the ladies.. But, since my nieces and nephews will be in the Kid's Class, how perfect is that! I would have been there anyways..
Saturday, June 26 - June 30: Finally able to go to Mom and Dad's for a few days. I will be sitting out by the pool as long I am there! YAY.
But, then it will all pick up again July 1st.. And July is just as busy, if not more...
I LOVE SUMMER!!
*And Lord willingly, sometime during the end of July or early August I will be moving to a new city.... Get back to you on this one...

  1. I hope that city starts with a Fort and ends with a Smith. :)

Sounds like a fun summer. I remember being able to do summer like that. I loved it.
