We are going to San Antonio for our honeymoon and we are staying in the Omni la Mansion de Rio. It is beautiful and I can't wait! We are in a room with a balcony overlooking the Riverwalk. Four and a half months to go!Other than that we have bought our invitations, sent annoucements to the newspapers, finished registering!, found a flower shop that sells rose petals for tossing when we exit (for pretty cheap)... and there is still so much to do these next 4.5 months!
This weekend is BRIDESMAIDS day! This is a special day set aside to find my beautiful bridesmaids beautiful dresses! We are meeting at Cheesecake factory for lunch, YUM, then trying on dresses in the afternoon. I look forward to spending time with some of my favorite girls. Unfortunately all my bridesmaids won't be there but we will be sending pictures.
Next big thing after bridesmaids dresses is the wedding show at the Double Tree on February 1. We will finalize the menu after the taste testing that night. Before then I have to be working on invitation wording and after we finalize the menu we can print everything and stuff invitations to have ready to send out early March! Eeek.. Time is passing fast. But, I am ok with it, even with a lot to do because that means June 2 will be here and the wedding will happen and then, wha hoo, married!
It has already been a busy but extremely blessed 2012!
