So, it turns out that I am actually going to be in Copperas Cove second weekend in May.. Which almost NEVER happens.. I am gone somewhere every weekend... But, I have to stay in Cove because May 7th we have this "EduPlay Day" after school for first graders who are low in math and science. And, it just so happens that May 8th is Jacque's wedding shower in Cove! How lucky was that scheduling.. I was looking up races coming up on http://www.runtex.com/ and I discovered there is a 5k/10k run the very same day, in the morning.. Pretty exciting..

Today at church, I was talking to Paula and Sis. Kay Oakley, and found out they are doing the Capital of Texas Triathlon, so I am jumping on the bandwagon and going to do it with them! Very fun... I have been wanting to do a triathlon for years... They have a beginner one but I am going to do the Sprint. It is 750 meter swim, 20k bike, and 5k run.... I am pretty confident I can handle the swim and run.. but, I have not owned a bike in, I don't know how long.. So, now my objective is to research and get a bike.. or perhaps borrow Heather's.. Not sure.. But anyhow, I am looking forward to it! It will be a great way to spend Memorial Day (morning)!
